Maverick came out with this super awesome thermometer that direct connects to your trusty old smart phone, and its wonderful. I recently decided to make my favorite meal of roast beef. I am a little notorious for sometimes accidently over cooking. Call it crazy mom brain, it just happens. I decided to use this thermometer to give me the right gauge of when our food was done. First I pulled it out and got it all set up. I didn’t read the directions and accidentally installed the wrong app and just couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working. Once I got the correct app installed this worked like a charm. It was simple, I placed the probe in my meat and ran the cord to the outside of the oven. I hung the thermometer base onto the cabinet next to my oven by using the suction cup included. Anytime I wanted to check my meat all I had to do was simply plug my phone in and wait a minute. It didn’t take very long for it to register. I love this thermometer! My only hope is that soon it will include all phones so my husband can use it as well!
